The Free Distribution Sponsorship Program was created to provide an affordable means of sharing the rich fabric of Indigenous art, culture and history. You can either choose a community partner to distribute free copies or distribute the books yourself.
We have also created a Buy One Gift One matching program. Find out more here. It is estimated that 150,000 Indigenous children attended Residential Schools. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Canada committed to distributing a minimum of 150,000 copies of this First Nations reader. We invite the Government of Canada, the leaders of the churches that ran the residential schools, concerned companies, organizations and individuals to purchase copies and have them distributed for free.
